thanks for the review, we are going Sept 12 for a week.

Is the Opry Land Mall open? how about the hotel?
I am debating on ordering the Entertainment book, did you have it and wif so was it worthwhile?

The mall and the hotel are closed... Last update I heard was december.

I did not purchase the entertainment book.

My SIL, GOODOO, and another Opry employee/friend were here last week.

That was the week the girls in my wife's family always went to Fairham Nashville through RCI, only this year RCI tried to rent the week to us, when others were still getting it as an exchange. I've posted about that.

SIL says a couple thousand Opryland Hotel employees are out of work. GOO tech employees are still working as they Opry plays at the Ryman.

But all the event-type people . . . ushers, concessions, etc., are still out of work.

Both were doubtful about merchants returning to the mall.

Merchants will return to the Opry Mills Mall. That place is a gold mine. Every time I've been on a Sat, during a non-event weekend, the mall was PACKED.

Everything there should return to normal. The place is just too popular.

I'm sure their websites have updates on reopening dates.

They did not elaborate, but there have to be reasons why those who work there and are very familiar with it say what they say.

Time will tell.

My son keeps hoping they'll bulldoze the mall and turn it back into Opryland.
