Review: Grand Beach Vacation Resort

This resort is nice, but not what I would call excellent. The accommodations are better than a hotel, but not the level of quality I like at locations such as HGVC. The layout is simple and design are simple but complete.

My group of 14 had 3 units here at Grand Beach in November 2009 and we loved it. The units themselves are very spacious, beds comfortable, and the balcony was one of the biggest I have ever seen in a TS unit.
The resort is in a nice location, and if you go on the back road and behind the big hotel on the corners parking lot, it put you right onto World Drive.
I would say it is a great place to relax after a day at the parks.
Doesnt offer a lot of activities, and the ones they offer stink.
Also no restaurants within walking distance, you must drive.
We played bingo one night and it was for some really lousy prizes (deck of cards), and not cash like we anticipated.
So if you want a large comfortable place to relax for a busy week at WDW this is great, if you need activities or other conveniences like an onsite....well anything, look elsewhere.
