I'm sorry to hear this. We stayed there once when it was fairly new and always wanted to go back.

Do you have any idea how many other resorts Wyndham only partially owns?

I could see why whole owners would not want to subsidize TS vacationers.
That could get real expensive for owners.

I hope this doesn't apply to Wyndham Waikiki Beachwalk. We are going there in April.

I have a week reserved for the family vacation this summer. I haven't been in years and I was really looking forward to the trip. Perhaps i'll cancel and rebook elsewhere.

I am going to Ocean Walk March 19th - 26th and will give an update on what I learn. The Lazy River is temporarily shut down due to "Mechanical issues". The HOA/Fractional Owners in the South Tower do not believe they should pay the same rate as the timeshare UDI owners. It is currently in court and Wyndham has been subsidizing it and carrying it until the court decides. Could be a long battle in the South Tower. I will be staying in the North Tower so will see if the employee service is similar to what it had been in prior years.

Update on Wyndham Waikiki Beachwalk.

We stayed at the Wyndham Waikiki Beachwalk last month for a week on an exchange with SFX. Everything went well. They gave us an excellent unit.
