Additional note

We stopped by last June (2006) and the Concierge gave us a key to go up to the observation deck. Even though we are not Marriott owners, we indicated that we had stayed at several Marriott resorts through exchanges and that we might be interested in becoming owners.

The view from the observation deck is 360 degrees and quite amazing! Be sure to try to do this when in Boston, even though you aren't staying there.

This is a venerable old, restored property and very classy. Worth it just to visit the lobby.

We have seen availability on II during the off-season, but not the summer months. Of course, we have not put in for an ongoing search.

We found a June week just sitting on-line with a very modest trader for 2005.
