Review: Grand Mayan Riviera Maya

Following is an overview of the review that was added:

Very nice resort but spread out. Grand Mayan units are reasonably close to the amenities while MP units can be very far away. Building continues on the GM pools which are slated to be done at the end of May.

When I was there a few years back. We got a new Grand Mayan unit which was further away than the MP units. There was an alligator in the Lagoon did you see him?

Frank, MP units 1 - 8 are fairly close to the pools. GM units 5 - 7 are the farthest away but comparable to MP 9 & 10. I'll scan the map and it'll be apparent to the others.

That's the alligator they feed with guests that don't have enough $ to pay their lofty bills upon checkout. Of course, if you choose to deposit your valuables in their lobby safe, they will consider that property theirs. So,if you have fine jewelry or big cash in their safe they'd confiscate that and not feed you to the lagoon gator.
