Review: Ridge Tahoe

Plaza was last building to refurbished and finished in 2008.

My understanding is that the Plaza's all got something called comfort beds and flat screen televisions.

I asked last year because we have older tv's in our Naegles and Tower and was told it would be a while because they were not old enough to replace at this time.

The next large work plan is after twenty six years the Naegles are going to get the kitchens and bathrooms totally refurbished. There in good shape but old.

I just got bonus time reservation for the weekend before July 4th, so I'll check out the Plaza unit sooner than I thought

It's hard to predict, but Jan to mid/late March should be great for skiing in general.

We just got back from our bonus time stay in the Plaza building.

TVs: the living room has a really large flat screen TV (could be 50 IN but I didn't measure it) and the master bedroom has a smaller flat screen. The lock-off has a regular TV.

Shower/tub: both bathrooms have tub/shower. the tub in the master bathroom are just a regular one but has two shower heads (one on each end). the tub in the lock-off is deeper. Both have slding glass-doors.

The washer/dryer is in the 1BR potion.

Although the gondola to the Stagecoach lift is no longer there, Ridge provides frequent shuttle services to Stagecoach lift (only a few minutes away). If you want to drive there yourselves, there is plenty of parking.

One thing I kept forgetting is that Ridge does not seem to provide shampoo and conditioner for owners/exchangers. However, if you rent directly from the resort, these items are provided. When I told them that we were renting this time, they had someone deliver these to our unit.

As usual, we had a great time at Lake Tahoe even though the ski condition was not very good.

Lisa it seems you enjoyed yourself up there as we always do. How did you like the Plaza.

We listed our Naegle for rent or sell that we love but it is just to large for us now! . Our thinking is we own even year and love our Tower. If we sell our Naegle summer unit we might buy a Plaza odd year to go with our Tower unit.
