  • Review: Residence Letojanni

Following is an overview of the review that was added:

One brief visit to walk thru the property and see what they had to offer convinced us to be grateful that we couldn't get it thru any exchange company. BE AFRAID, be very afraid.

katiemack, thanks for checking it out and writing this, because it's always been on my wishlist, due to location, and I wondered why I've never ever seen it online. Maybe now we have our answer. I certainly would have taken it if I'd seen it, in the past.

How did you like Taormina though? I've been compiling a list of hotel possibilities there, for someday, having given up on an exchange ever coming thru. Would this be your choice of towns to stay in?

      Thanks for the warning.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Laurie, Sorry I have had a hectic week and missed this post....to answer your question, Taormina is a beautiful piece of heaven. If you find a good hotel, you will enjoy staying there. The area is mountainous, and there are plenty of streets that challenge whether it is walking or driving, but Italy has a great train and bus system and you can get there by either. We had planned to stay in Taormina, but our cousins insisted we stay at their home....I silently cried, as I really wanted to stay in Taormina. It is spectacular.

If you go, be sure to go to the Greek Theater....spectacular views.
