We are fully booked!


I was able to pay the upgrade fees to get into the 1 bedroom now rather than to wait for the 90 day window. (It's nice to deal with the same reps from the past)
I still feel it to be unfair since I own a Junior suite that I had to pay extra on top of the Mf and internal exchange fee. According to them the units are not compatible and that is why I had to pay the extra charge and also since I am using my week for Cancun in April they are taking 2 years (really 4) off my contract to book this.

Don't forget to check out the new restaurant in the reserve section..it's called Vento's and is supposed to be like Mediterranean fusion. I didn't go when I was there because I didn't learn of it until we were leaving, but I heard it is very good!

Well, it's a pretty large resort. Since you have teens going with you I would think you would like to be somewhat close to the pool, beach and restaraunts. Otherwise, you may have to take the shuttle to the beach. It's a good full 10 minute walk from the lobby to the beach, unless you take the shuttle. They have those running 24hrs. Since you're getting a 1 bedroom, I'm not sure where those are located. Here is a picture of the resort map. It is an older one because they do not have the Reserve section noted. The reserve section just opened within the last year and if you look at the map it is located across from 34, where all the green is.
The deluxe suites for timeshares (which most people own) including myself, are located in buildings 2, 3, and 4. I just found this :
1 BEDROOM MASTER SUITE GARDENVIEW, 885 square feet with
garden view featuring the following additional services and
amenities: a luxurious bathroom with Jacuzzi for 2 with
double sinks, luxury amenities, separate living room area
with sofa bed, daily stocked refrigerator, equipped kitchen,
separate dining area, connection with Luxury Junior Suite,
located in "The Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana Resort" -
new area by lobby
If your located here, there is a pool for that section

Guess what resort I have on hold now? I am going through the Sol melia vacation club and I think this resort will now work for everyone, Many Questions coming in the future so be ready if we book.

Great resort Frank looks like you are following me again. We had one of the best vacations ever at the Melia Paradisus Punta Cana. Make sure you reserve the specialty restaurants on the first day. I think there are two or three that you need reservations for dinner. Everything is included here even horseback riding, scuba diving, snorkeling as well as all non motorized water sports such as Kayaking and sailing. Hey they even give out free cigars.
