  • Review: Kilconquhar Estate and Country Club

Following is an overview of the review that was added:

Wonderful resort! While the location is a bit rural-- it enabled us to really see scotland. A rental car is a must!! Two types of accomodations- 1) in the castle 2) in a house-- We had a house and loved it--

This was one of our ALL TIME FAVORITE exchanges! Close to St. Andrews, close to Anstruther, easy drive to Edinburgh, easy drive to Sterling (great castle there), I could go on and one. We were in the castle in a 3 bedroom with a cherry kitchen, WONDERFUL! The interior of the castle burned out years ago, but the facade was salvageable. The property once was owned by the father of the famed ROBERT THE BRUCE.

    Cheers!
