Review: Scottsdale Camelback Resort

Following is an overview of the review that was added:

an older resort that does the best it can with what it has. has updated/replaced appliances, well maintained, clean friendly staff. some rooms have privacy wall facing a busy street.

This is the resort that Jerry Sykes is associated with. I actually met him at ARDA last week. He is a really nice man. He gave me one of the Camel stuffed animals that they use for revenue enhancement at the resort.

His session was about preserving the value proposition at the resort. What it really meant was how to create additional revenue sources to keep the resort appealing. I think he said the generated $3.5M in maintenance fee revenues and $1.5M in additional revenues such as a Day Spa and these stuffed animals.

It interesting who you will run into when timesharing or learning about it.
