I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Halloween should be a great time to visit. We liked it so much we are staying there again on our trip next Feb. 6-13.

We did MNSSHP last Columbus Day weekend. Let me know if you have any questions about it. (I'm assuming you're attending)

Yes I am attending and it's the reason we are going.Halloween is my birthday and I have always wanted to attend this event. We are empty nesters and really are not going for the parks per se. We also want to do the marathon 7 hr behind the scenes tour. VWL is the resort I wanted to exchange to.

Dh's mom lives 45 minutes away so we are visiting family but staying at VWL.

The icing on the cake is I get into one of the parks free on my special day. We have been on the disney website reading about it. Halloween tickets are not being sold yet.

Not sure if I should do the MNSSH on 10/31 or a few days before. I heard it is crazy on the 31st but that is my special day.

We need some fun this year and what better than Disney to help us lift our spirits.

It was $800 + for a 2bd that week if we rented over $5k plus for the week. Don't you love timesharing!!!

Since u can get in free on your B-day - why not do MNSSHP a few days before?
This way u will get two Park days.
For MNSSHP, you can enter tha park around 4:30 (they advertise it as 6 or 7) - catch a few shows and then hit the rides around 8 - you can get the late parade at 10.....it is really a blast!

I just returned from SSR - I did the dinning plan for the first time - it was very nice - and we only did two park days out of 6.
Just traveling around to the different resort hotels...we had a great time

Glad you had a great time. I don't want to do Epcot , AK or Downtown Disney. We are waiting to book the 7 hr Backstage tour. DH thought about going to MGM/Hollywood but I'm not so sure if I want to. I like to see all the resorts kinda like checking out other TS inside. We are spending a few days taking out my MIL and a couple in WDW while staying at Wilderness Villas.
