Jackio Definetely go!!!! It's such a fun town. If you like steak and Mexican food then you are going to think you died and went to heaven. I love San Antonio and used to stay at the Marriott Riverwalk until I discovered this Wyndham timeshare. Great place, you will have fun. I'll be returning one day soon too.

Your review states "unless you are disabled it can be a bit of a problem." Can you elaborate?

The resort is not very wheelchair friendly. They have an elevator but it is small and the place is a converted Salvation Army turn of the century building so some places are uneven. For example you probably won't be able to get out on the deck overlooking the river. Also the Riverwalk behind the hotel is definetely not handicap friendly. You have to take a flight of stairs to get to the River level where all the restaurants are. Maybe there are elevators but I did not notice them.

As far as entering the resort you won't have any handicapped parking nearby or onsite. You have to park in a city parking lot about 1/2 block down and then walk back. Could be a challenge for cane users as well as wheelchairs or anyone not steady on their feet. I don't remember any valet parking there.

The street outside the entrance to the resort is uneven and a challenge for many as well. Think cobble stone like streets in the area. Only good thing is if you fall there is a hospital almost next door.

The check in lobby is on the second floor not on the first floor and it is very small. Hard to navigate a wheelchair there. The computer room is also not accessible and it's in the lobby. The wifi is also only in the lobby.

I would recommend that if you need an accessible place then stay at the other Wyndham Casacada which is probably handicap friendly since it is new and has to conform to ADA standards for new construction.

            Hope this helps.

Sorry I just realized I made a grammatical mistake. I meant to say if you are disabled it's Not handicap friendly. sorry.
