when Bluegreen developed the christmas Mountain Golf Estates, they allowed people to trade their Bluegreen timeshare toward their lot. some people bought 1/2 acre wooded lots on the golf course for their timeshare and $6000.
This ad sounds like they will take any timeshare.

This came up a few weeks ago here, and I doubt if it would be a good deal.

that is my thought, that the lots would be overpriced. But the ones at Christmas Mountain were not at all. There are a lot of homes that are 4000 to 7,000 square feet and the lots sold for $30,000 to $40,000. Many of the owners were able to trade in their timeshares. One of the smaller homes, they paid $20,000 for the lot but traded in $11,000 so only paid $9000.
