Located midway between Los Angeles and San Diego, this resort is popular with owners looking to vacation in Southern California, within easy driving to many attractions including Disneyland, Sea World, Magic Mountain, San Diego Zoo, Universal Studios, and Knott’s Berry Farm.
The resort is located atop Solana’s sandstone cliffs, one block from the beach. It is about one mile from the Del Mar Racetrack.
The resort has 49 timeshare units: consisting of studios, 1br, & 2br villas.
None of the villas have air conditioning or are handicap equipped units. Also, there are no elevators onsite. This should be disclosed to all buyers and renters in case either condition makes their ownership or usage not viable. No pets are accepted, and no RV parking is available onsite.
Studio Villas
The studio villas sleep two. Layout will vary. Studios are equipped with a queen size bed, (some are Murphy beds located in the living area). There is a full bath and a kitchen and dining area. Studios are approximately 460 square feet.
One Bedroom Villas
The one bedroom villas sleep a maximum of four. Layout will vary. Villas are equipped with a private bedroom with a queen size bed, a fold out queen size sofa bed in the living room, and a full bath with a full kitchen and dining area. The one bedroom villas are approximately 820 square feet.
Two Bedroom Villas
The two bedroom “flats” are a single story construction and sleep a maximum of six. Layout will vary. They are equipped with two private bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a fold out sofa bed in the living room, and a full kitchen and dining area. These units have 1 ½ baths. These villas are approximately 1,070 square feet.
The two bedroom “townhouse” style villas are larger (approx 2,000 square feet) and are two story construction. These villas have two full baths. The bedrooms and a bathroom are located upstairs, and the second bath is downstairs. These villas are approximately 1,500 square feet.
Annual Fees due January 1st.. 2010 fees were:

Property taxes are billed separately.. Studio tax was $55. Larger units will be more.
Ownership and Transfer info:
Deeded ownership which floats in a specific season. $25. transfer fee payable to Vacation Leisure Maintenance Co, Inc. at closing.
