I have contacted a lawyer who suggested that a lawyer who deals in Mexico would be best. I haven't gotten that far. As stated before I have contacted the BBB, Texas State Attorney General's Office and the FTC. I will be contacting the Texas State Senator from District 16 John Carona, as well as the Dallas police department Forgery division and WFAA a Dallas TV station. I am also looking into creating a Facebook page to expose them as much as possible. If we can get enough complaints out there to as many places as possible perhaps we can at least stop them.

By reporting these crimes, you've already taken the most effective step towards stopping this type of fraud. The Texas attorney general will be able to pursue them if they have a registered agent in Texas. The FTC will have the authority to pursue them accross state lines. If they are located soley in Mexico or another overseas location, it may be hard to stop them- but you will find that high profile websites such as this are a very effective means of exposing the scam to others.
I doubt traditional media will be nearly as effective, as they simply will play lip service to "timeshare scams" without providing any real information to consumers to help them determine what is a scam- and what is legitimate. In fact, mainstream media coverage may actually make it harder to warn others. What many of these con artists do once they are "outed" is to simply start the scam under a different name. There is already some evidence that this group may already be doing this documented HERE.
I appreciate your passion. Try joining as many bulletin boards and internet discussion groups as possible and post a link to this website and share this thread to help spread the word as much as possible. We can't help everyone, but we can warn those who take a few moments to conduct a google search.my travel website: Vacation-Times.org.
