  • How to sell trendwest/Worldmark

Hi all. I am looking for information on selling a timeshare. While my husband was deployed years ago he bought a timeshare. We have never used it and do not know much about it, other than we pay for it every month

Where do I start to sell this?

I appreciate any help or advice.

There are brokers who specialize in Worldmark. You can google worldmark resales and they will come up. If you took out a loan and are paying on a loan, it may be hard to sell the contract. The brokers will know.

Thank you. We owe money on the contract as well as pay the monthly fees etc...

WorldMark is the only timeshare developer I'm aware of who does allow a resale buyer to assume the existing mortgage, so it is possible to sell this program with a loan in place. However- like all timeshares prices are depressed.

Your best option is probably to try to use the timeshare as much as possible, to squeeze as much personal usage and enjoyment from it as you can. You can learn from other owners on these forums If you can't use it at all- then start by getting a realistic valuation for what you own.

If you cannot sell it without coming to closing with a large amount of cash, you may want to focus on rentals to at least recover your maintenance fees.

        Good luck!

These guys might be able to help unload a Worldmark.
Worldmark, Wyndham, worldmark, wyndham, timeshares, Time, Share, resale, reviews, club, resorts, buy, sell, sale, trendwest

I have bought from these guys in the past and they were great.

Tamer is paying less for points than ever before.. Increased competition is forcing down prices. At this point, I recommend most owners sell off available points as a one-time transfer- and hopefully give the economy and resale market some more time to stabilize.
