Do you have an effective date? Also, if you are a member of RAVC...what do you think of it? I have an ebay watch on one right now.

The increase is already effective for any new transfer requests not yet received by the Club or that have been confirmed by estoppels.

In regards to RAVC, I'm personally a fan of that program. RAVC is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of two professional directors and five RAVC member directors. Owners seem to have a real input in the direction and activities of the organization.. Most impressive to me is the fact that they are perhaps the only timeshare developer that doesn't rely on the "tour and gift" method to sell memberships. They have always traditionally kept initial prices low- and the program fairly simple.. For a small club system- they can offer a great value.

Currently, the developer offers onsite promotional prices of $2,900 for a one-week/one-bedroom membership and $3,900 for a one-week/two-bedroom membership. 2008 annual dues were $578 for a one-bedroom membership and $703 for a two-bedroom membership. 2009 fees are expected to increase to $611 and $746 respectively. (Also bear in mind that like many clubs, for some of their resorts additional fees such as energy surcharges, occupancy taxes, and parking fees will also be required)..

Traditional resale prices have been around $1,000 less that what the resort is currently selling for.... If I can be of any further help to you, don't hesitate to send me a pm..
