In order for a contract change request to be processed, a Contract Assignment form must be completed and show notarized signatures from both parties and submitted to the Owner Relations Dept with a transfer fee of $250. for each contract being transferred.
Transfer requests normally take about 90 days to be processed. If the account is not current, the request will be returned.
Divi does not handle the RCI membership transfer for RCI Points accounts. If RCI pts are being transferred, the seller must contact RCI for these transfer docs which must be submitted to RCI "after" the Divi transfer has completed. Be aware that if the next year's usage has not already been confirmed by the seller with RCI, the new owners may lose that specific allotment during the transfer process. Contact RCI directly for assistance. Also, Owners that hold RCI Points pay their maintenance fee 13 months in advance. This means that a Buyer has to pay the upcoming year's maintenance fees BEFORE the resort will transfer ownership to them.
