    Glad that you are safe.
A good reminder to all of us to stay alert.

Due to the incessant whining about the heat, vintner has been provided with a brief respite from it today, and now we will all likely pay the price the next few days.

JLB, meet us for a beer!

I'm arriving at Big Cedar tomorrow afternoon with my 3 kiddos. Meeting up at the Lazy River for a drink late afternoon with Don; join us if you're not busy on the golf course

Can wait to be out on the lake Saturday afternoon...

Come on down to the Landing tonight and check out the free outdoor concert at the fountains, at 8pm. Show up an hour early to park your folding chairs and walk around the stores till it starts.

          Mark Chapman Band plays tonight...

Weather was nice, cardinals were staking their claim on the tree just off of my deck, and the day was good.

Lot of different bugs here than home, wish I knew was was out there, couple sound interesting. Maybe I will walk the woods this evening.

Heading home tomorrow with an overnight stop in Des Moines. Will get home on Sunday and...it will be hot.

But...getting a new furnace and AC installed on Wednesday.

I'm not sure if tomorrow is now today or if tomorrow is still tomorrow. If it is, I am off.

Meeting and drinking beer are things I do. Sometimes at the same time.

Tomorrow was today and we met and chatted for a nice time.
DW thinks we should come back in June, maybe we can sit down to a beer then.

November is very nice here. Big Cedar looks best that time of year and Ozark Mountain Christmas is in full swing. Like Silver Dollar City, Big Cedar is decorated with beaucoup little clear Christmas lights, and the bonfire with smores is going every night.

Did any of you happen to have visits from the highly socialized and acclimated-to-people skunks that reside at BC?

In any event, I will set a couple of beers back.

I looked for skunks based on your prior posts, but didn't see any. The bugs I found are likely to be catydids cause I found one on the front walk of the cabin. He wasn't dead I found out.

It is not looking like we will be there in June as everything except the new expensive units are booked. Maybe in 2012.

Special thanks to Anita for her info on the WW1 museum in KC. We had to detour to it on our way home. Kim is very happy and thankful for that information. A worthwhile stop while in KC. And bring your AAA card for free second ticket.
