Another cold day so I chose this day to go to the Pavillion and take pics and get all sad and weepy eyed to think of the Pavillion closing. We didn't get to ride the coaster because it didn't open up until later. I did however get to eat the massive cheesburger at Peaches Corner. Boy, have they gone up in price. Oh well, still you have to do it!! I will be posting pics of this place and the burger. Wait till you see it!!
Walked around the corner to check out the Bowery (lots of Alabama stuff) That's where they started, just in case you didn't know.
Since we were going to Legends deceided to drive all the way down to Murrills Inlet and walked on their boardwalk. Watched the fishing boats come in with their catch. Very relaxing. Had a beer and some oysters on the half shell at a bar type restaurant. Not impressed but enjoyed watching the motorcyles come in. Ate at RiverCity Cafe, wasn't real hungry so Kelli and I split some chicken fingers. They are known for their cheesburges but after eating at Peaches the thought of another cheesburger made me ill.
On to Legends. I have seen this show about 4 times and I still love it. We had Garth & Trisha, the Temptations, Louis Armstrong, the Blues Bros and of course Elvis!! Kelli got a teddy bear from Elvis. We were on the front row so he came down and handed her one. She named it Elvis
My favs were the Temptations and the Blues Bros altho they were all good. Go see it, you'll like it. We stayed and had our pics made with them. Long day, but fun. shaggy
