My redneck wrestling reunion in Atlanta

Kelli & I had a wonderful time. We stayed at the Marriott Airport Hotel in Atlanta. We got a great deal off of Priceline after they matched Expedia. $610 for 4 nights and 2 non-stop r/t tix from Greensboro. It's like getting the flight for free!! They had a shuttle so no taxi's needed.

Thurs night we shuttled to Joe's Restaurant and there was a mix up getting us. It was over an hour and we missed part of the Q&A with Dr D Schultz ( the guy who slapped John Stossell on 20/20. For our inconvenience they gave us free breakfast buffett which was over $30 , but boy was it good!! During the session , Mansfield started screaming it was all Ole Anderson's fault and it got really ugly , saying God works in mysterious ways and he put Ole in a wheelchair and gave him MS. This went on & on and no one jumped to Ole's defense. Well I know Ole & his wife really well but I didn't know enuff on this subject so I kept my mouth shut for once. Ole found out about it and was ready to kill him. Marsha (his wife) got him calmed down. After the break it was Stan (The Lariet) Hanson got up and told his tales of life in Japan, etc.
Afterwards we just hung around to get pics & autographs before hitting the sack.

Fri: at the convention/Hall of Heroes Banquet

Slept in and then hit the autograph line and the vendors guests. Ron Simmons was to be seated at our table & when I met him I told him DAMN!! we are eating with you!! We had so much fun. They inducted Ted Turner, Sir Oliver Humperdink, The Assasins, Ray Stevens, Gordin Solie, Ron Garvin & The Masked Superstar.

We met my favorite Rowdy Roddy Piper and he was so crazy & so nice. We got our pics made with him and so many others, I don't want to bore you. I will be getting the pics up soon.I did meet my fav., Matt Morgan. He is only the best looking big (7 ft) man in the Universe!!

Wow Shaggy. I know nothing about wrestling except I met Hulk Hogan at a convention once. Does that count? Anyway, glad you had a good time.

Sat: Wrestling Matches & Roddy Pipers comedy hr.

What a day we had!! Kelli met Rob Van Dam & Gunter from TNA. I told Gunter that I was his mom on facebook and he was so happy to meet me & we had several pics made. After he left a gorgeous man in a suit came in & took his place. I almost passed out Good Lord, he was the best looking man I'd ever seen , well maybe besides Matt Morgan. Turns out he was fighting Gunter tonight. I told him if I was 30 yrs younger he'd have to watch out!!

After the signings we took the shuttle to Ruby Tuesdays where I had a delicious steak and salad bar. No problems getting back this time.

I stayed behind while Kelli & her friend Nessa went to the wrestling matches in Carrolton Ga via buses . Kelli was on the front row just screaming at my hottie & yelling for Gunter. He yelled at her are you crazy!!? Kelli yells back NO, but you are. I guess you had to be there. I wasn't, but I heard all about it.

After the busses got back we went to see my other man, "Rowdy, Roddy Piper" He was funny but a little vulger. One of the stories he told was in the beginning he had to wrestle a bear and one of his "friends" had slapped him on the butt, smearing honey all over his behind. Well, the bear got Piper on the mat and started licking his butt and then pulled his trunks off while Piper ran for his life. He was really funny.

SUN: Last day of convention/ Mon the end.

Slept in and then went to the autograph signings. A lot of people missed this as they were catching planes or leaving to go home. After we got the autographs we hopped the shuttle to the Marta and was going to McCormick & Schmidt but they were closed and didn't open for another hour so we went to my other fav. Ted's Montana Grill where I had their turkey & dressing, mashed potatoes, squash casserole & asparagus. Yummy!!!!

After lunch we went to The Underground because it had a Marta Station & we didn't have time to go to The World of COke like we planned as Nessa had to leave at 6 for the train. The Underground was worse than I remembered. It stunk and reeked of poverty and was just plain nasty. Don't go.

When we got back my old boss & friend from my Circuit City days came for a short visit. He looked wonderful and he had to leave tooooo soon.

After he left we went to church service led by Ted Dibease. It was a very good message and made everyone feel good.

Afterwards went back to room to pack as we had to leave . We rode the shuttle with Harley Race. He is having trouble walking as so many of the older ones are. Got home on time and Kenny picked us up and soon I was being greeted by Monkey & Mater.

We had a wonderful time seeing our old friends and meeting new ones. Can't wait to next year!!

I am Snapfish challenged. I click on the link, and I can see the cover page, but after I sign in I cannot get the album to open. Am I missing something?
Edited to add: I can see "recent albums" but when I click on the links (there are 3 and Shaggy's is one) nothing happens.

Shaggy gave me her password and I used that instead of my own account. There seems to be a problem and I am trying to correct the link right now but am not succeeding yet. When I logged in again in my own account, it had wiped out all my friends' albums as well as Shaggy's too.

I will try to get it corrected now or otherwise tomorrow. I learned not to log in with someone else's password.

If it doesn't work then I can no longer do it. At one time, all the shared photo albums ended up under my account but they are all gone now. Snapfish may have changed everything so we can no longer share our friends' albums.

To be honest, I don't know. I don't use Snapfish so may cancel the account as I don't use it. I like Smugmug.
