  • Good deed by United Airlines

I'm scheduled to fly from Philly to Fla in March on United for a family wedding. I made my ressies in August and I'll skip the long details but today I was able to change to s direct flight from a flight with a short layover on Cleveland Ohio where I was afraid I might be delayed for snow. The new flight is actually on US Air but listed on both websites. United changed with no hesitation and didn't charge me any additional fare. Thank you United.

Spirit flies from AC to PBI, straight thru, but I was afraid to chance it in case they cancel the flight. Philly isn't as close but it is more reliable.

If your scheduled changed by more than a certain amount, most airline would rebook to another flight.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

That's great--but isn't it sad that airlines are so crappy that the slightest little positive move in our favor thrills us no end?
They really are the worst companies. So hostile to their customers.

Northwest used to be great about working with passengers on things like that, but unfortunately they got taken over by one of the worst on those things, Delta.

With the merger at United, I had not heard how things had settled out on working with customers, but this is indeed positive news. At least it is not like their ff program, which they screwed up with merger.
