As most of you know I have been planning a trip to Estes, CO for over a year. I've always wanted to go there but Mother Nature had other plans. Everything got cancelled. Wyndham has called me 3 times so far to remind me not to hop on the plane this Friday, Delta gave me vouchers, cancelled my car and cried for the poor families in Colorado , and yes just a few tears for me. I could have rebooked into Steamboat Springs but that's not really where I wanted to go. So with Kelli's input I deceided to go to Hendersonville ( mtns of NC) where there is a big wrestling match so that was a no brainer. She said she would like to go to Dollywood and go back to the ts that had the indoor waterpark, so that's what we are doing. Am I as excited as if I was going to CO?? No, but did I salvage the trip and make plans that will only add to more memories???? Yes

Someday hopefully I'll make it to Estes Park. Shaggy

Glad to hear things worked out for you, Shaggy! And thank you for thinking of the people out here affected by the floods -- it may take a while but the area will recover, there is no doubt in my mind.
