Is the airport one uses when flying from the states to St. Croix? Henry E Rohlsen Airport (STX) It looks like there is a smaller airport, but I assume it is for smaller planes, but when you put St. Croix in the American Airline site, that is the one that comes up. Just want to be sure I fly into the correct airport.

Normally you would come into St Thomas or PR or rarely BVI. From there a smaller plane into STX. You can also fly into those airports and others and take a Sea plane which is fun to do but costly.

Looks like American Airlines fly direct to STX.

From what state? If so is the price of a non stop much more than a 1 stop?

No they are all one stop in Miami or Charlotte. When you live in Nashville, you expect that for a lot of the flights. Any recommendations on Car Rental or one to avoid?

where are you staying. I have been there 3-4 times and never rented a car only cab it to see the giant trees and to visit the other side of the island which I did not care for but I do recommend going to to see where Columbus landed which a cabie will take you to

I do not know anything about that resort, Which part of the Island is it on? I highly recommend you spend a day at my resort which is on it's own island and has a reef on site with colorful fish all around. They also do a Tuesday night BBQ/show that gets packed. www.hotelonthecay.com

They had a four bedroom unit on the first floor which works out great for my wife, no steps and four adults and three kids.

IMO You are on the good side, The other side is where the cruise ships come in and where the projects are.

Good, we are looking forward to it and will check out Hotel on the Cay.

Is this what you were talking about?

                      TUESDAY (Contact Harbormaster at 340-719-5438)

All U-Can-Eat Beach Barbeque 7 til 10 at the Harbormaster Restaurant. A West Indian Feast, complete with Steel Band, broken bottle dancer, limbo artist, a fire eater and a Mocko Jumbie, one of the Virgin Islands renowned stilt dancers. Prices start at $30 for this wonderful all-you-can-eat buffet.

Is it open to everyone, even if you are not staying at the hotel? Do they have day passes?

Any other recommendations on things to do on the island. We will three active kids, two boys ages 11 & 13 and one girl age 12.

Since it is on it's own little iland you need to pay for the short boat ride which is $1 PP plus pay for the BBQ. You may want to spend a day at there beach. The reef there has some nice fish just bring snorkel gear. Or you should be able to rent. Also while there see the fort which is right across
