  • Seattle/Alaska Day2

Karen & I deceided we didn't want to get to the ship too early so we found a 3 hr tour of Seattle that actually takes our luggage and when finished lets us off at the ship. Woo Hoo!! No taxi rental, this was a no brainer!! It was also a wonderful tour and we learned a lot. We stopped at Pioneer Square where I found a waterfall to take pics of. We also stopped at the Salmon ladder (interesting) and an overlook that showed Seattle spread out beneath our feet. Really pretty, plus the blackberries were ripe and we picked some of those. When I was trying to change seats and wouldn't you know it, I cut my toe, took a nice chunk out of it. LUckily there was a bandaide. That's #1 !

By the time we got to the ship we were starving so we hit the buffett. At the buffett a waitress dropped a plate , you guessed it, it cut my ankle!! That's no 2 . Will there be another 3? Anyway, she was so upset, I told her not to worry, I'm find and Karen is trying to make me report it. ( in case of infection) When Kathy Q ganged up on her side I said ok. Luckily, no one was available so it worked out ok. Deceided not to wear my sandles anymore.

That evening we had a cocktail party where almost everyone one a prize, if not they'd get one later. It was great seeing everyone and meeting new friends. Peter & Emmy (our own iconnections) joined us and all of us had a great time. I was bouncing all around seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Afterwards, we all went to the main dining room. I had the prime rib and it was very good. Cruise critic people were running down the food, but I found it quite passable.

Afterwards, went to the show where they prevued a motown singer, a horrible comic, and something else. ( I ferget)

On to bed, really tired!! Will there be accident no 3 ?
