  • Fav magic moment at Disney ?

I am sorry I have been neglecting you guys but I've been on an emotional rollercoaster with my Mom. She is doing much better now and I feel a little better about not being there so much.

Anywho, back to the question. We have so many Disney fans I thought this would be fun. I have so many wonderful things to share about Disney but will share one of my favorites. Kelli loves to have her pic made with the characters so the last time we were there we went to the new Wilderness Lodge and had breakfast with Winnie the Pooh and friends. Kelli had her back to the animals as they had all been around once. I saw out of the corner of my eye that Pooh picked up some flowers out of a vase and was headed for Kelli with the flowers behind his back. As they are not allowed to talk he came over to the table and stood by Kelli. At first she didn't see him and when she realized he was there she jumped. He handed her the flowers and she said ""Aww Pooh, thank you!! and kissed him right on the nose!!. Pooh was acting very shy, it was so adorable!! And you? shaggy

Finding some really great Moroccan rugs for cheap, in Epcot's "Morocco" (after having a lovely meal in their nice Moroccan restaurant).

PS Shaggy hope your mom starts to do much better!

Taking my two girls for their first trip. We had the princess breakfast at the castle of MK first thing in the morning. Great stuff.

My favorite memory from WDW was at Christmas time when we ate dinner at the Biergarten and then went to the Candlelight Processional. It was something I will never forget. Debby

Meeting Edgar Winter backstage at Epcot last year. That was a pretty magical moment.

One of my favorites memories was seeing the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights at MGM, for the first time. It was just my husband and myself that particular night. The snow was falling, they were handing out Hot Chocolate, and the Christmas Caroler's were singing Holiday music. It was really quite charming and romantic.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Mary Poppins has always been my youngest daughter's favorite character. Last year for Halloween she wanted to be her and after a difficult time we were finally able to get a beautiful Jolly Holiday costume made for her. On our next trip to the World in May of this year, we were determined to get her picture with Mary in the same outfit. When she wasn't at the character breakfasts that we had scheduled and when we kept missing her at the other places she was suppose to be, we were getting pretty disappointed. When we spoke with some of the staff at OKW, they started making phone calls (apparently, there is a special number that cast members can call to find out where exactly certain characters are at a given time. The information is only good on that particular day). They then made sure we got to the Toy Store in Epcot when she was also there. When we walked in, you could tell she was getting ready to break, however, as soon as she saw my daughter putting on her dress (I didn't want her wearing it all over the place so I carried it in a bag), she stayed. She also took it one step further. She took my daughter into the back room of the toy store and got the photopass guy to also take pictures. She spent about a good 20 minutes talking and hugging my daughter. The photopass guy took lots of pictures.

We have had lots of magical moments at Disney but that was my absolute favorite.

My best moment was finding my 5 year old son in about 10 minutes who had wandered off on Christmas night to see the light parade up close. It was one of those moments when you turned your head and looked back and he was gone.

Needless to say his mother was very happy when she saw me bringing him back.

Hey your not alone. I lost my son when he was about 4 in Macy's Dept store. I was at the register and he was holding on to my pants and then he was gone as I was paying. They shut all the doors and had guards at every door instantly. Then a man who was standing 30 feet from me and saw something was up. Picked up my son in the air and yelled out, Is this your son?

BTW I was lost once but I was found. No really I was.
