Thurs: Woke up early to a beautiful day and headed off to VOF / Valley of Fire. It takes over an hour to get there but boy is it worth the trip!! We stopped at a little Indian casino/gas station to fill up and I ended up with a beautiful fleece Navajo blanket type jacket. It was beautiful colors as you will see in he pics. I can hardly describe VOF!! Wonderful, stupendous, unbelieveable, breathtaking, awesome, a MUST DO!!!!
We spent hours there and didn't get it all done. Lots of great hiking trails, petroglyphs, small arches, weird rock formations, etc. I didn't make it all the way to the Mouse's Tank, but it was just a little puddle of water. Nice scenery on the way. Drove to the White Dome area but sat in the car while Bill hiked it. All of a sudden he comes barrelling down the hill, Bellagio? Beautiful? Nothing compared to this, purples, pinks, blues, etc. I was scared to hike it as it was rocky but Bill was determined I was to see it. With B&B on both sides of me we slowly made it to the top. Oh My!!! The sun was beginning to set and it was truly magnificent. We drove straight to Freemont St to see the Canopy Light Show. Ate at Tony Roma's (good) and I 
left with a small profit. B&B weren't impressed with downtown but I think it was because it didn't have a lot of "energy" plus we were worn slap out. Shoulda gone here Friday but I thought it would be too crowded for them.
Fri: Ate breakfast at Ellis Island . We were going to get tix for Blue Man but they were showed out so we split up. Kelli & I hopped a bus to Flamingo where we saw Margarettiville & the beautiful pool and animal habitat. Went to the Mac King show. The magic tricks were good but the jokes and show were awful. Don't waste your time. Went to the Sahara to see Coasters, Platters, Drifters. Just great singing. What more can I say. . Went to Nascar Cafe where I had a hard time getting Kelli out of there. Met up with B&B at the Wynn. For some reason I wasn't impressed. Ended up at the Venetian.
Sat: Time to go
I wanted to go to Paris for breakfast but Bill wanted no part of the strip. Kelli wanted a shirt from Hard Rock so ended up there. Who thought it would be so noisy that early ? Ate, got our shirts, took more pics, and got the he-- out of dodge. A wonderful trip!! Hope you enjoyed the read!! Till next time!! Shaggy
