Back from Italy

Hi folks,
Got back from Italy trip yesterday. We are still at my wife's brothers in NJ, drive home today.
Had a great trip, but think we need to go home and rest from our vacation.
Will post some words about the trip and put some pics up on one of te photo sites as soon as I get a chance and collect my thoughts.
I have a few pics on my blog that we posted while in Italy, pelikenbriefs
Need to take some time and go thru the hundreds of photos we took and pick out a reasonable number to post.
We started in Milan, side trip to Lugano, Switzerland and Lake Como, on to Venice with stop in Verona, then to Florence with stop in Padua, then to Sorrento with stop in Pisa, day trip to Capri while in Sorrento and fnally to Rome and home from there. Anyway the trip was really great, we saw so much but now have to take some time to digest it all.
So will post some pics and a bit about the trip as soonas I can.

Welcome home, Ken...we missed you! I am so glad you had a great experience in Italy....you sound the way we did a few years back, when we got back...sort of exhaustedly thrilled!

When you get back to "normal" I would love to hear your tales, and get any tips from you about Venice and Florence. We will be heading to Italy over the summer and are planning it out now. Until then, rest, review the lovely pictures, and enjoy the fresh memories!

Wow, you really did travel...quick question: Are their seasons like those on the west coast (spring, fall, winter, summer) not too severe during the winter and summer?
Any info you can give would be great!

I know that I saw your photo images today somewhere already and even commented about them too but now I see your blog or briefs. It is really amazing what you can do with the Internet today. I can't keep up with it all anymore because they keep adding more features every day but I love your pelikenbriefs, Ken. Thank you for sharing, as I love it so I can pass it on to my dear friends who are interested in Italy too and Switzerland but are too old now to travel themselves. One day soon, we will be traveling by Internet only too but it won't be so bad because of people like you. Keep it up.
