I had everything all in a packet that I was protecting with my "life" I still have no idea where or when I lost it. I hadn't unpacked was why I didn't know it was missing. When I reported I had no "accidents" on this trip I wasn't aware that I had had one. I'm an accident ready to happen!!.

Spence, I think we both need to go on the next TUG cruise and see who can throw the other overboard first!! shaggy

No thanks! I've had reports of how you handle cruises and post cruise arrangements.

JUst what do you mean by this statement? The only thing I've ever put together is Capt Marvins Stingray City which was the highlight of many tuggers vacations. After the last cruise Karen & I went to Tillicum Village which I could have lived without.

This sounds like a darn good idea as that may help her job.

            Spence,
Is there some sort of elusive humor here ? Please help me to understand as it seems cutting and inappropriate.

We went on the Captain Marvin's Stingray City tour and had a great time

I think that Shaggy did a good job of organizing it

Shaggy, thanks so much for sharing it all! The passport dilemma to begin with and then this miraculous story of a person who just had to be helpful and kind. It sure restores our faith in humankind (despite a person's rather bizarre postings here of late)! It is great to know that when we have a human "event" or "mistake" that there is someone out there who has the type of heart to see it for what it is, not to take advantage of it, and help a person out. I am so happy that this woman did the right thing and added a happy ending to your vacation!

As for the caustic abrasive posts interspersed in here, I say feel sorry for somebody who thinks he is so damn superior...for truth be told, it just isn't possible.
Life is short, live it with this awareness.

                      Shaggy,
I completely understand how you could have lost it. Sometimes when you are trying to be extra careful about something, you keep it separate from everything else and it ends us getting misplaced. I've done it myself, not with passports, but with other important things. I love that a decent person found your things and returned them. It is surely what you would have done if you had found someone else's packet. I'm sure she feels really good about herself and that is probably reward enough, but a letter to her superiors would be nice, too!

I know I said in another thread that I didn't believe in Karma, but in reading this thread I hope I'm wrong, in more ways than one.

So glad everything worked out for you Shaggy.

                          Shaggy,
You're one lucky gal. So glad it work out so well. I would hate to lose my passport, especially with the time frame of the process today and all the questions that I'me sure have to be answered when you lose a passport now.
Anyway congrats on your good fortune, glad it worked out so well.

I don't believe in Karma, either (although my post sounded like I do). Just blessings returned.
