Finally got around to sorting thru some of my photos from Italy and picking a few to post in Webshots.
We had a great trip of which I will post a short narrative soon. We were on a Perillo Tour and except for having to come home and rest up it was great. We flew in to Milan, made a day trip to Lake Como and Lugano, Switzerland, then to Venice, on to Florence with stop in Padua, then to Sorrento with stop in Pisa and quick tour of Naples, then to Rome with stop in Pompei.
Saw a heck of a lot in 2 weeks and I took over 1200 photos, but my wife topped me and took over 3000 for the trip. We are still sorting thru them.
    Anyway here are a few:

    Will write more later.

What great pictures! It took me back to when I was a kid and we lived in Milan for 6 months. We traveled to Lake Como, Genoa, Venice, Rome.

No wonder it is taking so much time for you to recharge your batteries!

Fabulous pics Ken thanks so much for sharing.

I really need to do a trip like that someday.

Lawren, I hope you will make that trip to Italy one day. It's a beautiful country and it looks like the buildings and fountains are still in tact the way they were in 1964 when I picked up a car and drove through several countries in Europe. Lake Como also looks as picturesque as it was then. Angela must really be getting excited.

Ken, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful pictures. I really appreciate it when people are willing to share them.

Ken, loved your pics as usual. There were a couple of the canal that you should consider entering in a photo contest. shaggy

Very nice pictures. After seeing them I think I might have missed seeing the Pieta in the Vatican. Or I just forgot I saw it.
