WOW ! You made my day - if my plane ditches, I can die happy ! Nothing but cricket and soccer here.

Yes, basically all is expensive, but hey, it's a world-class city with lots of free admissions, so it all washes out.

I will write a review. Not sure about photos as my digital camera isn't behaving, but I will write a review and figure out how to digitalize 35mm prints.
Staff is lovely and it's very convenient to the bus stop.

Great people ! We're headed to the theatre tonight. Not sure what we're going to see as we're doing the half-price thing.

                Sounds like you're doing OK.
Maybe next time, we'll join ya.

                Enjoy.

                Would love to.
Hey, maybe we should try a group TS4Ms trip here someday ???

Glad to see you've made friends....if they are hard drinking Aussies, look out Jeannie!

Ah, I can take 'em as I used to waitress years (eons) ago at the Rose & Crown Pub in Waikiki. Got to know the Australian submariners quite well.

Greetings from a rather damp London. Oh well, that means museums, galleries and shopping ! Went to Harrod's, Fortnum & Mason's for the souvenir goodies.
Saw "The Woman in Black" yesterday. Okay, but all the 17 and under crowd screamed.
Am off to Kensington Palace for tea at the Orangery.
Am enjoying Carlton Court. Very, very nice staff. Compact, yet good accommodations. A little dated/worn but so is Allen House and who stays inside when in London ?

Beags.....Sorry to hear about the weather, but tea at Kensington Palace, and shopping, should cheer you up. Enjoy the rest of your stay, it all sounds wonderful!

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

I'm sure there is a meteorological term for the current weather conditions but in lay terms - piddling down and bleedin' freezing (I hope such technical terms don't offend anybody )
The temperature is currently far lower than it was throughout April. Apparently last Saturday in London was 17 degrees C colder than the previous Saturday. That's about 27 degrees F. I finally gave in today and put the heating back on. I switched it off in early April as it was no longer needed.
When travelling to the UK at any time of year you are best off packing for layers and bring a lightweight waterproof. No certainly that you will need the waterproof, but equally none that you won't either.
