Julie I absolutely fell in love with Taos when I got to stay for a week back in 1988. Visiting the pueblo, Georgia O'Keefe's palce, skiing and horseback riding. What is not to like.

Someone told me it was the exact global opposite of Mongolia and that was the draw.

But you can ask Katiemack about me I was having wild dreams in Sedona as well.

I hope it retains it's draw. I would love to go back some day.

I thought that it was interesting that the sites were rated for as to how "unspoiled" their condition is. I have been to several on the list mostly as a kid (parents from 2 different continents) or during my younger backpack around the world days. Many attract quite a few visitors each year, so I can understand why they are being rated. I know that Bruges, Belgium is a lot more visited now than when I went there as a kid in the 1970's. Still it seemed to rank fairly well. If you are curious about the total list of World Heritage sites check out this link World Heritage Centre - World Heritage List
