  • Rest of the tale, BVI

I have just been so slack!! Go ahead and fire me I will just do a synopsis of the rest of the trip. We woke up the next day to a beautiful wall of cliffs and caves. The first cave we went into looked like it was made of teakwood and the 2nd cave looked like we were in a room with huge amyethist (sp) Just beautiful. The 3rd cave was a no go as we were being stung by sealice. Other places we snorkled were the 3 Indians/ Chiefs? and the Wreck of the Rhone. I was very disappointed in the Rhone as there was no fish, just the anchor and part of the hull. They said that the big fish were on the deep end where the divers go. I swam around the whole Indians. Tina got concerned and sent Andreas in the dingy after me. I was fine, just my usual snorkle. Told him to not worry about me in the water, only on the dingy or getting on the boat!! Everyone was amazed at how much I stayed in the water. I could stay for hours if there are things to see. They were also amazed when I did a back dive off the back of the boat. How can I dive when I have trouble walking? (I just stand and go over backwards) No walking to it.

I really enjoyed myself and was toying buying in but Kelli said she wouldn't want to do this every year but about every 3 or 4 yrs is fine. Everyone was so friendly , met wonderful people and everyone helped me get around altho I didn't ask for help. I think they were scared for my life!! Not me !!

This is definitly not for everyone but I loved it. The rooms are tiny, tiny, tiny, and not air conditioned!! That is the only problem I encountered. I will give 2 thumbs up to Andreas and Tina. I loved hearing about how they met, etc. etc. If anyone has any questions I'll be glad to help!! shaggy

Hi Shaggy, We always wear dive skins when snorkeling so the sea lice don't get us.

Beags, you can buy lotion for sea lice. It's like little bitty eggs that get on your skin and sting and make you itch. I'm not sure if it's jellyfish eggs or what. It won't make you sick but will make you itch. Be sure you wear water shoes as you don't want to step on a sea urchin. Have a blast. If you have a chance to go to the Baths in Virgin Gorda. Do it!! shaggy
