  • ? Everyone has a special

almost magical place that the fondly remember. For me it's Sedona. I fondly remember the awe of God's creation in the form of the red rocks, and all the scenery. I smile when I think of the pleasure of the Pink Jeep Broken Arrow Tour, the photography tour I took of Schnebly Hill , A Day In the West where we saw the cabin where Elvis stayed when he filmed a movie, and where Crocidile Dundee made a commercial. There is absolutely nothing I can think of that I can't recommend.

Where is your "magical place" What do you recommend ? What don't you recommend. Thanks to Angela for the help with this. I'd like to give her credit . shaggy

    Jackson Hole, Wyoming

I love Jackson Hole. The majesty of the Grand Tetons rising from the flat valley floor...the Snake River...the lakes and forests...Yellowstone. The whole region is a fantastic, unspoiled remnant of the American West.

Everyone has a special, almost magical place that the fondly remember. For me it's Sedona.

I agree, Sedona is magical. We took a 12 mile drive that had been voted the most scenic drive in America. It was breath taking. The homes were built into the mountains, some needed bridges in order to get to thier property. The roads were winding, the views spectacular.

Oh, I wish I were there right now.....

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

        Hi Shaggy,

        I can't pick just one.

I recently returned from Santa Fe. What a spectacular place. I loved the entire area..Alburquerque,Taos,Los Alamos,Bandalier. I can't wait to return.

I would put Sedona in my top ten. I'm always in awe of the view from our veranda in Cancun. The White Mountains in NH are soulful peace for me. The tops on my mystical list is Cape Neddick Lighthouse in York Beach,Maine.

I share some of Kathleen's mentions and have several more. So many places, so little time.

Four bungalows on a white sandy beach with palm trees all over the place, On the South China Sea on Palawan Island, in the Philippines.
              Need I say more?
What I once considered boring, I now consider paradise.

My favorite place is Moraine Lake in Alberta, Canada. The color of the water, in fact I love the whole area of Jasper and Banff. I loved the cruise to Alaska, the glaciers falling. I love Sydney. I love the ocean whether its Longboat Key, Hilton Head, Mazatlan and Cancun. There are so many places I havent been so this list hopefully will go on and on. I am going to Arizona and Hawaii this fall so this thread has made me even more excite.

Yosemite National Park in CA. It took our breath away.

Besides that Crater Lake in OR too. The first time we got there, the lake was ink blue. It was incredible.

The Grand Canyon also comes to mind and Bryce and Zion too in UT. We haven't been to Sedona yet so will get another beautiful experience when we finally get there.
