  • Dream Vacations

How many of you have imagined your dream vacation, but never seem to end up there? But by the time it is actually time to leave, you end up somewhere else? Every year you say you're going to that certain special place. Where is that place?

My dream vacation spot is a houseboat on Lake Powell. Every year since I was a kid, I've said I would vacation there but I've always ended up going somewhere else. I feel Lake Powell is one of the prettiest, most spiritual getaways I can imagine.
What I once considered boring, I now consider paradise.

    Lake is Great

My brother n law and wife have been going there for the past 4-5 years with some friends of his that live in Arizona and about 20 other friends. He loves it and if he had his way, that is the only way and place he would go to vacation.

      Ken,

Your dream vacation sounds wonderful. I hope you are able to take it real soon.....

My dream vacation would be to take a couple of months off, and travel to the many beautiful towns of Europe. I would love to see the many beautiful castles, the magnificent mountains, and country sides. The beaches, and small towns.

I would like to get a true flavor of the various countries, outside of their main cities.

After staying at Ram's Horn Village in Colorado, and enjoying Rocky Mtn National Park last summer, I have thought every day of going to Yellowstone. Since we'll be married 25 years in 2007, we've decided to go there then. I did tons of research, and we've rented a beautiful house in Bozeman, Montana. It's a big, ambitious trip, and it's surreal that we'll actually be going there. Just the thought of potentially seeing all that wildlife and the geysers is amazing.

          Carol,

I have never been to Yellowstone. However, I have dear friends who are married, and both artist, who go there often. It is one of their favorite places in the world.

While they are there they paint much of the scenery. The paintings and pictures they bring back are amazing. You are going to love it.

Happy 25th, and enjoy your trip......

Yellowstone is exciting because it is so different but don't forget visiting the Grand Tetons too. We preferred that over Yellowstone. The scenery there is out of this world. Beautiful wildflowers and the aroma everywhere. We saw millions of butterflies hatching and flying away in this area too.

Yes, Lake Powll is wonderful even with a little boat as there are so many little inlets to hide in that you can get easily lost. The stars at night are so many and so bright and it's warm enough to sleep outside. Our neighbors always talk about their trips to Lake Powell and to the San Juan Islands too in WA. We only have driven by Lake Powell but it seems to be much nicer from a boat.

My dream vacation would be the Caribbean Islands where the water is warm and clear and snorkeling is great. This should be an easy goal but never got around going there yet as I don't want to go alone.

My dream vacations are the three I gave to Live with Regis & Kelly when I entered the February Out of Control contest (but they of course never even called me...sigh).

              I wanted to win:

              1) Antarctic cruise
              2) New Zealand & Australia adventure
              3) Zen of Tibet

Yep, those are exotic dream vacations to my mind!

                    My Dream Vacation

I too am interested in the Orient Express train. My dream vacation is to travel throughout the Wine Country of California by train. This also sounds like a great way to visit a number of National Parks.

We drove the highway that parallels the tracks and were content that we could stop occasionally. Got to not only see the same fields, but diverted whenever.

Around the world trip for about 3 months would suit me just fine!

You know Tony would be upset about that.

I think he still wants you to run a sex chat you know.
