East Coast Sharing and Leaving Stuff Behind Thread

Since a lot of us will be traveling this summer to places like
Atlantic City NJ, Alexandria, DC, Massanutten, Virginia Beach,
Williamsburg VA, The Carolina`s & other East Coast Locations.

If you have anything that you are unable to transport back/forth home
due to limited space in your vehicle or too much to carry on a plane...

Why not "Leave It Behind" for the next TS4MS guest.
Post here: what, where and when it will be available.

Example: coffee pot, entertainment book/coupons, golf/tennis,
lawn chairs, beach & pool supplies, strollers, park tickets, etc.

Be sure to check with the resort to
see where they can hold it for you.

Also - if you are not using your whole t/s week - maybe
you can help another member stay an extra day or two.

Hope everyone has a great summer!

We have thought about leaving items in our villa like coupons, or discounts for the area, but thought they would be tossed by the cleaning staff. Some things that we have left are sealed food items thinking that the staff may be able to take them for themself.

It all comes out to the eye of the beholder, one man's trash...

I am not referring to trash or junk!

I was referring to items that others could use during their stay.
Example: coffee pot, entertainment book/coupons, golf/tennis,
lawn chairs, beach & pool supplies, strollers, park tickets, etc.

While we were in Orlando one year, we meet up with a couple
from the Disboard who live in the area. We invited them over
to our suite at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club on I Drive for
a swim, then we went out to dinner, afterwards I gave them
            our Entertainment Book.

            Here is an example
A few years ago a family went to Disney World and stayed in a hotel
style room that did not have a coffee maker. While they were there
they purchased one to use. Afterwards, the lady posted and offered
it to anyone on the Disboard. I was able to get it for our visit.

We always purchase a little something extra like boxes of chocolate &
boxes of cookies to give to the staff for providing us with good service.
One year we got a great deal on boxes of Chocolate Covered Cherries
to give away. The staff at Bonnet Creek really enjoyed them..

Everyone can not carry everything they want to take on vacation
and buy more than they need, Sharing is what this thread is about.

So, if anyone has anything nice that they want to share or are
looking for an item. Please post and we will see what happens.

We just returned from a wonderful week at Shore Crest I. The staff was absolutely wonderful! Our kids had a great time with the activities staff. At the end of our stay, we shared our leftovers with them -- everything from bottled waters to a box of Cheerios. They were very grateful and I felt good that I wasn't throwing away perfectly good food.

Wyndham Kona resort has a room where they keep things people leave behind for others to use (coolers, beach chairs, mats, etc). Then when you are done, you return it for another family. I knew this from my WYN forums group, it wasn't mentioned by the resort (but that was 4 years ago).
Heading back in October, will certainly check it out.
This IS a great and generous idea.
