I have had no desire to join facebook and still don't. However I did join thru AA Advantage for the free miles. Here's what scares me. It asked who I wanted for friends. It looks like they read my phone book for email and who I send emails to. There are 38 people with my name on facebook, however they listed over 1/2 dozen of my friends here and my brother, who has a different name. they have more info on me than I am comfortable with.

I don't know how to navigate the website yet but I blocked everybody and I'll probably cancel my membership after I get my miles but they still have my personal info. That freaks me out.

Did you friend anyone yet? Sometimes that's how they match you up. I have a different email address with FB than I have with AA. I didn't add my normal email to FB.

BTW. how many miles did you get?
