ICE Platinum Rewards

A 2 year membership was provided along with my recent WestGate Palace purchase.

They just offered me an additional "enhanced" membership for and additional 35 years at a rate of
$1498. Gave me 75,000 points if I signed up as a new user and an extra 1 week resort vacation?

Did I pass up a good deal? Anybody familiar / utilize this service?

We had lifetime memberships to ICE through a resort we own at. It was questioned whether the annual fee's where worth the cost and how many people found benefit with ICE. out of a few thousand owners, it was gettting used less than 100 times/year. So the answer was, it wasn't worth it.

We enjoy taking cruises but, we never found ICE to be anywhere near the best deal. What they offered us for cruise exchanges was so poor it was laughable. They have discounted rental vactions but, you can do about as well with rentals through I.I., RCI or any other outlet that rents condo's/timeshares.

IMHO, ICE is a waste of $$.

Anything that ICE is offering can be found better and cheaper with other sites and companies.
