  • Holiday Group End of Year 30-50% off (or more)

[marquee-right]Holiday Group Sale [/marquee-right]As may have previously been noted, there have been some changes in mangement and the previously 20-30% off offers accepted from prior clients are no longer the norm, but don't let that stop you from offering whatever you want and/or whatever you think it's worth.

I got the HG postcards in the mail and emails announcing their annual end of year clearance and didn't think much about it. Another board member alerted me to a prime property (IMO) that had made it onto the sale list. I had seen the property before but wasn't interested at the price I saw it at. Turns out it had originally been listed for $9600 then $7K then $5200 and it's a property that retails for anywhere between $30-40K. It went on sale for 50% off last listed price $2605 + CC and I offered about 16% less, $2605 incl CC. To my surprise they took it, I've not had them deal on sale items before.

I've been in the midst of a portfolio readjustment and have sold 30 TS in the last couple months not intending to add any more. Well, I've added 4 via eBay purchases and now 4 more from HG's EOY Sale. Yes, after they accepted my first offer, I made what I thought were three ludicrous offers on sale properties and they were all accepted. I think it has more to do with how long the property has been sitting around than what the property may or may not be worth as all the HG file numbers were lower numbers than properties that didn't go on sale.

I need to win the lottery

There is a floating 1-50 2 Bedroom Morritts Tortuga for $8800 I bet they'd take less.

OH OH and a floating 1-52 San Clemente Cove studio for $2600...

I'm sure they would, it's not on SALE though.

Spence, I know, but IF I won Lottery I'd go to Morritts every year and not just every 4.

I was just browsing the rest of the inventory.

The prices still seem high to me compared with ebay pricing.
