Actually the letter I just got says they changed it to two years. I am about ready to sign up for their credit card as well to get the promo miles.

Us air is changing to 18 months as well. Time to use up the miles and stick with one carrier or just get CC for all.

US Airways used to let the miles stay forever. I noticed on the website today that it says 3 years. An this is the reason I've been avoiding American. I've lost a lot of miles that I earned on flights where I had to take American.

So, if you have a credit card for the airline, does that count as activity or do you have to fly?

Thanks for the link. However, after I did my acct., I exited and then clicked on your link again to get my DW the 250 miles. Won't work!! Will I have to delete all my cookies and then try again? Pain. Or maybe use our other computer?

I had the same problem so I emailed it to my son and wife with there numbers. Hopefully they will do it.

Same here I signed on for my wife to get her 250 miles and then tried the link again to get the miles for myself and it didn't work so I'll just wait a couple of days and try again or i'll use a different computer.

You can also delete all your cookies and it should work. I had my computer worked on yesterday & they deleted all my cookies. I clicked the link today and was able to get my DW the miles (not posted yet).
