    There is a website that is suppose to help you decide when to purchase your airline ticket . http://www.farecast.com/

    Here is a link to an article in the Seattle newspaper http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/busine...aircast13.html .

    Not sure how this going to work, it shoud be interesting.

      Regarding fares, the site below is what most mileage runners use:

      http://www.farecompare.com/search/fl...e=0&sortby=PPM

      I inserted SFO as a sample control.

      The mistake fares I get in on (will be flying one over Thanksgiving) have all come from FareCompare. They also have historical metrics on domestic fares. Just one part of the puzzle, but an excellent place to start.
