Same fare for the April dates I cancelled

That is $150 less than they had been, really an unbelievable fare.

I ended up paying $497RT for the week before to get the non-stop home. Cancellation fees SUCK, they ate up any savings, but better than going thru Miami Customs. Not to mention the 6AM departure.

edited to add: that Cayman Air just released the Sunday non-stops home to JFK....they didn't have them when I booked.

Arg! It's just moments too early for me. Our check-in is July 19, 2008. The tickets aren't on sale yet. Please let me know if you see anything good from NYC to GCM! Thanks for posting!

Wacky, with those fares for prime March weeks, you should do fine for July. They will first come up in August/September. When these first came up they were $488 and we thought they wouldn't get any lower...

Lawren, do you know if Cayman Airways credits you back for lower fares?

I never got that far....cancellation fees ate up my difference. I swear I'm the only one that calls to save $560 for tickets and it ends up costing me $28 MORE!

Well I know you'd pay a lot more than that to avoid going through Miami customs on a layover...

Ok I got a call from cayman Airways. I got a $66/ticket credit voucher. They have to be used by July 2008. Unfortunately they aren't transferable or I would have given them to Wacky. Unfortunately CA does not fly to Barbados.

Pat, They must have released these Sunday non-stops back to JFK very recently. I would think within the last 10 days as I have been watching them like a hawk.

FWIW the fare is STILL $355RT with taxes today even on the Saturday fliights.

I wish these airline credits were somehow usable. I have a Continental credit now, from not going to Pittsburgh two weeks ago, that I can't transfer even to one of my children. It really annoys me.

Where else does cayman air go?
                      is it $66 total or $66 X 3 people?

Maybe a bonus week could be used and u could go yourself ???
Ask one of the Golden Turtles.....
