Free timeshare in Tahoe

We are downsizing our timeshare portfolio since we are buying a second home in Sun City West. I have a red week at Americana Village in South Lake Tahoe that I will give to anyone who wants it.

It is a hotel conversion, but updated recently. Very friendly atmosphere. Close to shopping and casinos, can walk to both. Summer weeks trade very well for other beach weeks and Hawaii for non gold-crown weeks. Free high speed Internet available. A 2008 summer week is available to use or deposit to RCI. I know it's not a fancy 5 star resort, but it we can walk to dinner or the casinos if we want, and that's one of the things that we've enjoyed about staying there, besides that it trades fairly well.

The maintenance fees are $644.00. Let me know if you are interested.

Is it a one or two bedroom unit? What is the floating period, like 1-52 or what?

It is a one bedroom. The floating period is week 1 - Week 14; Week 22 - week 37; Week 50- week 52/53. You can book the week two years in advance WITHOUT paying the maintenance fees to book or to deposit. The bulk space bank 2 years out with RCI so there are always good weeks available to deposit.

It sleeps 5. It has a microwave and refrigerator, but no stove as there is some rule in Tahoe about cooking I believe.

Now that I think of it we did too -- on the Nevada side. May be it's just because this is a conversion, but I thought I remembered something about why there wasn't a kitchen. At any rate, this has a full size refrigerator, but no stove. Thank for the info.

The one we stayed at was in California. That was many years ago so things could have changed since then.
