Air Tran deal from Atlanta!
Air Tran has a great deal on outbound fares from Atlanta to select cities for only 29-49 bucks one way, with travel all the way through Nov 7. I just booked us to Baltimore in order to get to DC. Air Tran allows one way ticket purchases...so, for example, you can buy a ticket to Baltimore for $29, see the museums, harbor or catch a game...then take the MARC train to DC and see some DC sights, and fly back from DC one way from Raygun or Dulles. Pretty good deal...even though you have to depart before 9 AM to get the cheap flight. I was tempted to go to Boston for 39 bucks...but DC won out...again.
