unfortunately we can't alter our dates and the return date is full. detroit to cancun was $394 other airlines $600+

I have heard really good things about this airline and have been trying to book on them for the last few months. The problem I find however; is that I do not know when they open their booking. I called them about 3-4 months ago to see about getting airfare to Punta Cana. When I spoke to the agent(?) I asked what date they were booking through...she asked when I needed a flight; to which I replied January. She then stated she did not know when they would release those fares. I asked for an approximate date...she said, maybe next month (Sept. maybe Dec!!) So, I booked with someone else.
I know Apple vacations use them quite frequently and maybe it depends on Apple's bookings as to when the fares are released for sale.
One of these days I may get lucky...
