For our trip to St. Augustine in March 08, our car came from Thrifty (through Bluegreen's travel service). We got at PT Cruiser for our Saturday-Saturday vacation. Final bill was $166.

And...opinion on the car, nice to drive for the trip, did NOT impress me on gas mileage. I got about 24 MPG on the road. My Saturn Vue has more room, and can get 28-30MPG. Okay, my opinion only. It may be a 6 cyl vs a 4 cyl. or whatever, but I will keep my Vue.

Price: $12 per day thru Priceline for a mid-size. Ended up that it is Hertz who took it.

I used Kayak at the time and the lowest price at the time was $32 so I think I did pretty good. This was about 1 month ago that I booked it.
