Got this in Kayak's weekly deals - Through Cheap Carribean

The Crane resort and residences, Barbados

That is an outrageous deal as RT Air is $600. Yes even in Sept. I looked it up this morning.

That would be my bet too but Barbados seems to have been pretty lucky historically.

Read carefully!

The web site states the package price starts at $759 pp. If you read the fine print, it says the price is based on minimum fares for selected dates. From Denver, for example, it is $1295 pp.

I know this is old news, but I actually did go to Barbados September of this year on a similar deal. We didn't stay at the Crane, but we did tour it! It really is spectacular!
The weather was fine. It rained for about 15-20 minutes each day. The only hurricane worries we had were for flying into Miami, but Ike turned towards Texas. The Barbados government subsidizes travel during that time because the tourism drops off due to the season, no matter what the actual likely hood of a hurricane hitting Barbados. It's not impossible, but... we decided it was worth it for $786 for 9 nights for two from Phoenix! Plus they gave us $200 US in Visa cash cards! I guess they offer it every year, but you have to book by March I think to get the really cheap deals and the $. Next time though I would pay a little more and stay at the Crane!
