Weather in Utah, Iowa and Wyoming

On Tuesday I will pull up the 10 day weather forecast because on Friday I am leaving for 2 days in Salt Lake City,3 days in Idaho Falls for day trips and 1 day at Yellowstone Nat'l Park.

For those who live out there, are you still having fairly warm weather (light jacket early morn and eve), or will heavy sweaters and jackets be necessary? I know weather can change dramatically in a week, but just trying to plan my suitcase. TIA

Well, I can't speak for Iowa, but it's been pretty warm still in Idaho. A light jacket is nice early and late, but shorts have been OK most days still. We're having some thunderstorms this weekend so it's been a bit cooler, but most above 60 during waking hours. Idaho Falls tends to be a bit cooler than where I'm at and Yellowstone significantly cooler still, so take that into account.

I am thinking Idaho Falls is in Idaho, not Iowa? I am in Iowa and I have never heard of Idaho Falls here!
But..... the weather has been absolutely beautiful in Iowa, we have had several degrees of 75-80 degrees and sunnny!

Yes, I meant Idaho. Don't know where my brain was when I posted. Since I've never been to Idaho, it must not have been imprinted on my brain. I'm really looking forward to this trip. Thanks for the "fun" wishes.
