SkyAuction.com - Vacation Rental Blowout Sale!

  • #2
    Just the start

Word in the industry is rentals have absolutely tanked - as have sales in timeshares. We may be seeing some great deals soon in addition to these. People are using their weeks rather than paying to rent or to exchange as the cheapest (in many cases prepaid or "no choice") option.

Westgate is bleeding! There is ALWAYS a silver lining.

I heard that Westgate was doing massive layoffs.
... not enough time for all the timeshares ®

Wow, they aren't even charging the usual Skyauction $295 additional small print charge on top of the $199...

Yes, they have been. Wonder what Wastegate will do with the empty buiding they stole out from under the Bluetree owners? And DRI has closed a few sales centers too from what I hear (but not in Orlando - not yet anyway).

What a steal! I wonder if it's available to AU residents.

Not on the $199 list, but a match to that for any search would have been unheard of a year ago. Of course I probably can't use it

                      Isn't it special

Hey, here is the best part....what are the annual dues/fees that RCi charges to be a member....nearly $90 a year, right?

And so you pay the $90 to have "members privileges" and you, the RCI member, can get many of these same weeks as an extra vacation and pay anywhere from $35 to $100's of dollars more for the same rental!

Don't you think that makes being a member a very special thing? The dues paying member of RCI, has the privilege of paying more for the very same rental that is available on skyauction for $199.

                      This to RCI: thanks.

If I'm searching rciredemptions properly, many (if not most) weeks have an additional charge---some are substantial.

Gee, I don't see additional charges when using the click thru provided in the OP's link....but maybe if you have a cert and are going for something outside of the "blowout" sale, there are added charges.
