    Anyone want to buy a cheap Royal Mayan??

    I don't belong to Redweek anymore but still get their alerts. Someone just posted several Royal Mayans for sale starting at $3000!! You need to join Redweek in order to e-mail the person although you can see the details such as unit#.

    They never send me any alerts. Which is just as well, as I don't need any temptations like a Royal Mayan for $3K!

      According to reports I've heard they are doing a terrific job fixing up Cancun. Last year Mexico was one of the top vacation spots.

      I would only buy a Royals if it was a week 1 to 14 as a mediocre trader will snag 15 to 51. Buff/Scott

        I was lucky enough to get an exchange in to the Royal Mayan on December 10th of last year. It was touch and go for a while if I could get flights that wouldnt cancel, etc. But we went and had such a great time. Lots of destruction but not at the Royals and it didnt seem to hamper the spirits of the locals (even though I know it must have been so very hard for them). Anyway it didnt rain on our parade, we had a great time and I have another trade in for any of the Royals cuz I want to take my other kids there.

          Scott- you left out week 52 ! Actually a mediocre trader will snap up any week, if it's available. The only weeks I've had real trouble getting were 7,8, and 13. Weeks 18-50 are usually the easiest.

                Royal Mayan

                The Royal Mayan (and the others) are fine. We just got back yesterday and loved the resort. I would buy if the trust didnt end in a few years.
